Nichol's Jack Normandin Names AVCA National Player of the Week
Nichols College's outside hitter Jack Normandin (Clifton Park, N.Y.) was named the American Volleyball Coaches (AVCA) National Player of the Week after being selected as the Most Outstanding Player of the NEVC Tournament, which Nichols won for the second-straight season. He had 18 kills and hit .600 in the championship match against Eastern Nazarene and, in the semifinal win over SUNY Poly, he had 16 kills, seven digs, and six aces. He is the school’s first-ever Division III National Player of the Week winner.
