NEVC Announces Athlete of the Week Honorees (Week Ending 2/25)
Smithfield, R.I.- The New England Volleyball Conference (NEVC) has announced its Athlete of the Week honorees for the week ending 2/23/25. The full list of honorees can be found below.
Athlete of the Week
Dylan Fox (So., OPP), Russell Sage College
Sophomore Dylan Fox (Albany, N.Y.) registered 46 kills, 3.83 per-set, on .320 hitting, 17 digs, seven total blocks, six aces, and three assists across three matches. The sophomore tallied 57.5 points, 4.8 per-set, in the 2-1 week.
Rookie of the Week
Corey Hollingsworth (Fr., OH), SUNY Poly
Freshman Corey Hollingsworth (Millbrook, N.Y.) helped the Wildcats to a 2-0 weekend, defeating both Hilbert and Potsdam 3-0. Corey swung .217 with 8 kills in the sweep against Potsdam. Corey was a tremendous help in the back row as he tallied 11 digs during that game. In the game against Hilbert, Corey had 13 kills and hit .250. He contributed an ace, a block assist, and 5 digs as well.
